1.  The Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) normal business days after receiving puppy, the first day being defined as the day after the puppy arrives in Buyer's home.  Weekends are excluded; they are not considered business days.  (Example:  If a puppy arrives on Friday, it must be examined by Wednesday of the following week.]  Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the cancellation of this guaranteeBuyer must mail (postmark will be the determinant) or fax proof of visit (copy of bill or signed statement from veterinarian) within three (3) normal business days after puppy is examined by Buyer's veterinarian.  Be certain that the name and the microchip number of your puppy is on the document sent.

2.  Any serious problem must be specifically detailed on the veterinarian's letterhead and signed by the veterinarian.  The report must clearly state the symptoms, exact problem, severity, and the tests that have been done (i.e., x-ray, ultrasound, blood test, etc.). and must show that the puppy's defect is genetically related.  [The report should be faxed to 512-396-8702, and must be received within 24 hours after the examination.]  The reports received will be examined by a veterinarian of the Seller's choosing, and his or her medical opinion will be the final determinant of the validity of the request for puppy replacement.  You can be assured that should that be the report of both veterinarians, you will have NO problems receiving a remedy to your liking.

3.  If in the professional opinion of the Seller's veterinarian, a serious condition exists that will be a problem to long-term health or is life threatening, the Buyer may return the puppy for the next available puppy of similar value (to be determined by the Seller).  The necessity for a medical return of one of our bullies is such an unlikely event that should this occur, shipping costs will be born by the Seller for the return of the puppy, AND the shipping costs for the replacement puppy likewise will be borne by the Seller. However, all veterinary expenses incurred after Buyer takes possession of the puppy are solely the responsibility of the Buyer.  Note:  This warranty does not cover coccidia, giardia, roundworms, hookworms, and kennel cough; these ailments are not life threatening.  The warranty does not cover cherry eye, localized mange, or skin allergies; these are minor medical issues commonly associated with the breed and with other breeds as well.  Further, this guarantee does not cover what, in the opinion of Seller's veterinarian, is 'mild' dysplasia; the professional opinion of the Seller's veterinarian is the determining factor in deciding degree of dysplasia.  (Dysplasia is a hip condition that can be present in several breeds; the bulldog is no exception.)   You DO have our word that this puppy is guaranteed until one (1) year of age against fatal and life altering congenital and genetic disease which adersely affects the health of the animal.  This DOES cover SEVERE hip dysplasia; demodectic mange (generalized, not localized); SEVERE luxating patellas; kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature.  If the dog dies withing this one (1) year period of time, Buyer will pay to have it autopsied to determine cause; if cause is genetic or congenital, Seller will replace the puppy.

4.  Seller is not responsible for temperament issues; these can be caused by a lack of training, discipline, or proper dog socialization.  With proper training and care, we have every reason to believe that our puppies will grow to have the same even temperament exhibited by their parents.

5.  Seller does not guarantee that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy, regardless of show or breeding potential.

6.  The $500 deposit is not refundable should the Buyer default on the purchase of the puppy.  Should the Seller default on the sale of the puppy, the $500 deposit will be returned to Buyer within a period of one month.

7.  After a $500 deposit is placed on a puppy, the balance of that puppy's cost must be received within one week (7 days) of the agreed upon delivery date, or within two weeks (14 days) of the agreed upon 'hand delivery' date.  Unless full payment has been received by the above outlined time frame,  the puppy will be placed back on the market, and the depost will be forfeited.  Unless the Seller defaults on the delivery of the puppy on which a deposit has been placed, no deposit is refundable.

8.  The Buyer agrees and binds himself/herself to take good and reasonable care of the puppy.  This includes but is not limited to the following:  feed and house properly; restrain from running loose and/or unattended at any time; secure the best of attention to the physical welfare of the puppy at the Buyer's expense.

9.  If the Buyer is unable for any reason to provide for this puppy, it may be returned to the Seller at no charge or refund by the Seller.

10.  Seller will provide buyer with requisite registration papers upon completion of sale, payment in full, and fulfillment of any contractual obligations as stated and agreed in this purchase agreement/warranty.  Once all conditions have been met, papers needed for registration of the puppy will be sent to Buyer within a one-month period of time. Buyer has the right to determine the name under which the puppy will be registered.

11.  Seller will provide Buyer with a health certificate completed by Seller's veterinarian; this health certificate will arrive with the puppy.  Puppy will come to Buyer having received its first series of shots and de-worming, and Buyer will receive a record of same.  Puppy will come to Buyer with permanent microchip for life-long identification.

The Buyer(s) and the Seller (Our Bulldog Children) have read and understand this agreement and agree to all parts and portions thereof and consider it as a binding agreement between themselves.
