Bouree, mommy's funny little girl, at 3 1/2 months
(Sweet, Sweet Bella, at 2 1/2 months)
(Bella and new brother, Mick, 3 years old.  Nothing better than to have someone who is willing to teach you the ropes when you are the new kid on the block!)
Mya Mei (beautiful Mya), at 4 months, at home with her mom.
(Porsche says Mya Mei can sit, she speaks, and she gives high fives . . . and is learning her leash manners.  She was always a very smart little girl, but now she has a mom who works extremely hard to teach her so many things.  Mya, you are a fortunate little bulldog.)
Einstein, at 13 weeks (Emily makes such a good pillow!  :)
Einstein and sister, Gidget
Dudley at 3 months, with his one and only Mom!
Penelope at 1 year!!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET GIRL!!!!  Sister Phoebe loves you, too (most of the time).    :)
GIANNI!!  At 3 1/2 months; and he is at one of his 'gangly' stages!!  Keep watching this boy; he is going to be quite the man!
Winnie at 3 1/2 months!  Winnie's dad reports that Winnie is perfecting his jumping skills!!  He can now jump from the chair to the table . . .and 'sometimes' he makes it!!  :)
Savannah and her mom!!  She is never happier than when mom is home!  She sleeps outside the bedroom door and never, never bothers.  That's what happens when a puppy has a home filled with security and love.  THAT kind of care . . . shows!
(At 3 1/2 months)
Here's Melia!!!!  (At 3 1/2 months)  Gorgeous, gorgeous bulldog  . . .
Is this not a handsome picture . . . I 'think' I know where doggy heaven is . . . it is HERE with five siblings with whom to play.  It just doesn't get any better than that when you are a pup (or later for that matter!).  What a beautiful family this is.  Melia, YOU are a lucky dog!
(At 4 months)
Mr. Pruitt Tuff:  Dad's Riding Buddy and Constant Companion
And Pruett goes:  With his family to Big Bend . . .
. . . and to Padre Island with his brother and sister.   Oh, Pruett:  You absolutely hit the jackpot, little buddy.  What a wonderful boy you always were; you deserved the BEST, and you got it!
Bruzer at 4 1/2 mos, with BEST buddy . . . . . dad.
Einstein at 3 1/2 months
Dudley at 3 1/2 months.  This boy has all kinds of friends!!!  Some who are breathing
. . . . . and some who are not!!   :)
Mom reports that Dudley is learning to ride his skateboard; the only problem is that he had rather eat it than ride it!  :)  If you look closely, you'll see that Dudley is sleeping on satin sheets . . . uhhh, "Mom, is this boy just a little spoiled?"  :)  THANK YOU  for loving him so much . . .
And this is Harley at 5 months.  What a beautiful, sweet little girl she is!  Mom says that Harley is so funny, and that they laugh at her continually.  :)
Mila at 4 months  . . . with dad:  mutual love.
Bouree at 4 months:    AND THIS IS . . . . LOVE.  You can't see love because it is an emotion?  No, you CAN . . . because THIS IS LOVE!
Bouree at 4 months; going boating with mom and dad.
Melia at 4 months:  way up north, getting ready for winter; this little girl doesn't have to LOOK for a home:  SHE HAS ONE!!  And she is dearly loved by everyone in her family.  THANK YOU !!!
Einstein at 4 months, with his mom.   This boy feels VERY SECURE in his place with his family!!  Nice of him to 'share HIS chair' with mom!!
And . . . Harley's mom sent these pictures of Harley at almost 6 months.  Notice the growth of the puppies as they mature; once lanky teenagers, they begin to thicken, wrinkles become more pronounced, and they begin to look 'somewhat' like the bulldogs they will become.  HOWEVER, they will not have their adult appearance until they are two years old!  They will change . . .CONSIDERABLY!!!  :)
EINSTEIN, at 5 months:  MAGNIFICENT young male
THANK YOU,  "T Family" for loving him so much; that love and care                              makes him what he is today.
Bruzer at 6 months!!  HAPPY 1/2 BIRTHDAY, you precious boy!!  Your mom and dad, and brother, love you SO MUCH!!
(Winnie, at 7 months)
Message from F.M., December 2007:   " . . . We got out the camera for Christmas cards, and I could not help taking pictures of Winston.  He is doing very well.  He is quite energetic and likes to chew (read as "destroy").  But his temperament is wonderful.  He and I walk about a mile once or twice a day.  He is so great on heel.  He could jerk my arm off and make it a very unpleasant experience at 50+ pounds.  But he has been a wonderful addition to the family.  However, he did not make the Christmas card this year; a 3 year old, a 6 year old, and a dog just create too many moving parts (literally) . . . "  Thank you, F.M.; I understand COMPLETELY!  :)
Mila, at 6 1/2 months, with her engineer dad who chose Mila because she was 'symmetrical.'  :)
Einstein at 7 months, with his favorite leopard friend (do you see somewhat of a reversal of predator order in this engagement?).  Einstein's mom reports the necessity of washing a very 'wet' friend leopard . . . frequently.
Bella at 5 months, with brother, Mick.  Bella and Mick sit in their computer chair to 'help' mom when she works at her computer.   Mom wouldn't be able to work nearly as well if she didn't have such good helpers!!
Bella at almost  7 months.  Do you notice a difference?  Yes, she is two months older, but there is something else:  Brother Mick is missing from the computer chair!  Oh, he's around, but Miss Bella is like velcro to her mother!  She stays with her ALL the time, and if the chair will only hold one, then it appears Bella is going to see that it is she!  :)

Mick still sleeps with mom; but little by little, Bella has moved Mick over so that she can sleep right beside mom.   Little girls are like that . . . and Mick doesn't mind, as long as he can be there, too!
Bella at almost 7 months, with her wonderful brother, Mick.   Rhonda, you have two beautiful 'children.'  This is what companionship and mutual love is all about.  THANK YOU so much for loving Bella as you do.   She will be a devoted daughter all her life!
Savannah, at 8 months, all ready for Christmas in her new red sweater.  And while she's waiting for Santa, she'll just . . . take a little nap.  Santa wouldn't pass Savannah by; she's been far too good a little girl.
Bouree, Christmas 2007, at 8 months -- Just look at this beautiful girl, dressed in her Christmas necklace and waiting for Santa . . .
Santa CAME!!  [in the form of Bouree's grandmother  :)]  Bouree's mom got a red stroller, just to take Bouree on daily outings; Christmas and grandmothers are . . . wonderful.
Einstein's First Christmas:
Christmas is over . . . Bah Humbug.  Well, I'll just lie here under the tree and wait patiently for Santa to come back . . . wonder how long that will be?
HARLEY AT HER FIRST CHRISTMAS!  She is now 7 months old.  I know I sound like a broken record, but . . . wait until she is 2 years old!!
And below is Sara's beloved Dudley at 7 months:
And here is Penelope at 16 months.  There is a fairly strict rule at Penelope's home that dogs are not to get on the furniture.  Occasionally this rule is relaxed a bit . . . when Penelope crawls up and goes to sleep.  She has staked her claim on 'this particular chair; it is . . .hers so she can get in it when she wants to!
Penelope and Phoebe . . . in their bed.  Now, Penelope, THIS is where you are supposed to sleep!  Phoebe has a time with her little sister!
Sara's Dudley at 10 months
Don't think there was EVER a little boy more loved by his mom than Dudley; Sara chose him when she first saw his picture.  There was never a doubt and never any other puppy for her but Dudley.  Dudley, my man, you are a most fortunate fellow.
Mila and her mom!!!  SO happy to have this picture;  THANK YOU so much!!  Mila is now 9 months old . . . and other than eating too many pecans from a backyard tree, has had a great 'almost' first year!  Jake and Erin have worked hard to make this little girl into an obedient BUT HAPPY little girl.  It is totally impossible for her to have found a better home!!

Jake captions his pictures, and those are classics!  This one? :

  "WILL SIT FOR FOOD!"
Second only to the picture with her mom, this is my favorite!  Maybe you have to know Jake's delightful sense of humor, but this is a classic that I could laugh at all day long!  Caption?

  "PAYBACK . . .MAYBE!"
Caption?:     "MID-DAY ACTION SHOT"

(Yep, Jake, with a bulldog, that's about as 'action' as it gets!  :)
(at 9 months)
"Grown Pups 1" contains pictures of:

1)  Pitypang/Nobozz Smirnoff Ice Fall           2006 Babies
2)  LeeLee/Amasio Spring 2007 Babies
3)  Idgy/Amasio Spring 2007 Babies

Hilda's Savannah, at 10 months.  This little girl stays with her grandmother until mom comes to get her; that is the high point of the day for each of them.  LeeLee's puppies have STRONG emotional ties to their parents.  They are, across the board, very intelligent and have great capacity for love.  LeeLee is 'all' these things, too . . .
Savannah is trying on her Easter ears this March of 2008!  She is being obedient, but something tells me this is not the most willing participant her mom could have!  :)  Those eyes tell the whole story; she is looking in mom's direction and seems to be thinking, "How much longer do I have to wear these, mom; does Easter last very long?"  :)
Beautiful Savannah, on Valentine's Day 2008!!
Bouree at Easter 2008; Boo is one month shy of being 1 year old.  Mom says, "She doesn't have a mean bone in her body.  She spent most of Easter weekend with the babies in my family.  They would grab on to her wrinkles and she would let them tug and pet her without a care in the world.  She is so well-behaved and has never so much as barked at another dog.  When I take her to the dog park, she rolls over like a cockroach in submission to even the smallest puppies.  She is hilarious and my whole neighborhood has fallen in love. "   THANK YOU, Alexis, so much.  The 12.5% of Boo that is Staffordshire bull terrier (British Nanny Dog) is what helps to give her the sweet personality; and the 87.5% English bulldog doesn't hurt, either! :)  -- What has enabled her to BE what she 'could be' is the home and the love you have given her!  YOU have made her what she is . . . .
Bouree, just three weeks from her first birthday, with her best friend, Barley.  When you can't find a pillow, just use your buddy; he's soft and warm and smells like you.  Couldn't ask for anything better.
Know who's just a few days shy of her FIRST BIRTHDAY???    It's . . . HARLEY!!!!!  Is this not a gorgeous girl?  If you were a bulldog, wouldn't you like to live with Nicol and James and be able to go camping with them?  Mom says there is just one problem:  Harley thinks she is a person and will only sit in a chair! hee hee  No 'ground' for this girl!  Harley, my dear, have you been spoiled?  You don't have to answer:  we know!  :)
Guess who is having her FIRST BIRTHDAY???!!!!  It's . . . SAVANNAH!!!  She had a party complete with birthday cake, pinata, party hat, and what's even better:  MOM, and mom's nieces [and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to her :) ].  They all love you so much; what a wonderful life you have, sweet little girl!   You think mom loves you the most, or do you love mom the most?  I'll bet it is totally equal.  :)  HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY, SAVANNAH!!!!  We LOVE you!!!
Bruzer, at 1 year!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LITTLE BOY!!  Mom says that he is the neighborhood favorite because with a face like that, who could resist! :)  He loves his brother, Arnie, so much; and both guys are extremely protective of their mom!  Mom says, "Bruzer does tricks, gives high fives, and is so obedient it's unreal for a  pup."  Good for you, sweet boy.   Brett and Robin named their little son appropriately:  he weighs 65 pounds, and though his height is complete, he will thicken and be a real 'bruzer.' So very very proud of you, little boy.  He was such a precious little boy the first two months of his life.  How wonderful to know that he still is!
Do you think Melia loves her family?  Look at the paws around brother's neck . . . this is a picture of pure contentment.  Dad says Melia is a real cuddler.  Yes . . . Melia loves her family, no doubt about it.
Melia is about to celebrate her FIRST BIRTHDAY!!  Just look at this beautiful girl;  how much more vibrant could her coloring be!  Dad says that she goes on long walks with him and he never has to leash her; she walks along beside him and never veers from her course nor leaves his side.
We all love you SO MUCH, beautiful little girl!! HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!
Beautiful Melia, one month past her first birthday; she won't reach her full adult "bulldog look" until she is two years old.  Can't wait to see her . . . . THANK YOU, DAVE, for sending these . . . I know you love her so much, and I am most certain the feeling is mutual.
Dudley, at 13 months, went with his mom to her parent's lake house for the 4th of July.   His two best buds (Sara's dad has two retrievers) were there as well.  When Sara's dad would throw sticks into the lake for the retrievers to fetch and bring to him, Dudley would be waiting for them to come up out of the water onto the deck . . . and he would take the sticks out of the retrievers' mouths and carry them to Sara's dad!  Sara says that Dudley stole their thunder! :)  They may remove themselves from the 'best buds' category if this little cheater doesn't play fair!!
Here is Miss Bella, just shy of her first birthday!  She is snuggled in on mom's bed.  Something tells me she has been here many times before.  :)  Mom says that she and Mick are extremely entertaining, and that Bella will jump two to three feet straight up in the air and land in a puddle of water.  Mom also says that Bella has no idea that she is a bulldog.  This picture 'proves' that!  :)
A wet and muddy Bella!!  This is what running and jumping in mud puddles will do for you . . . sometimes you don't land exactly as planned and you skid across on your face!  Bella knows . . . now.  :)  Mom says Bella is a funny, funny girl and she bring them many smiles.
Bella at 1 year old, with her best buddy, Mick.  NOTHING like having a best buddy.
LEANNA, daughter of Amasio and Our Bulldog Children's LeeLee, Spring 2007 litter
Now the daughter of Sita, San Antonio, Texas
Leanna, at 4 months
at 7 months
Leanna, at 16 months, with mom who loves her so very much.
Ready for bed, safe and snug beside sister and mom.
Leanna's Family:
Brother Michael!  (and sister, Bianca)
THANK YOU, Sita and Michael, for welcoming our precious Leanna into your home and for giving her the individual attention and constant love that she gets from making her home with all of you.
Phoebe (left) and Penelope; dad says they were watching the Olympics and practicing their synchronized chewing . . .  :)
(at 1 year)
(Letter from Dad, September 10, 2008 -- MANY excellent training tips here, learned through experience!)

"Hi, Shella, Thanks for the tips; I'll look into them once we get through the pile of stuff we got from the vet.  Mila's tail is getting its "minty fresh' smell back after being diagnosed and treated for a yeast infection that came after over a year of non-cleaning and getting wet here and there as she was bathed or having her epic chomp battles with the water from the hose.  I will need to try out the floss method once the treatment is done as it is too irritated still for me to get away with the unravelling delicious looking cotton and then trying to get back there.  The vet also diagnosed her with an ear infrection that I am not entirely  sure I agree with and will be looking up on the symptoms as I suspect it would have been in the early stages since I saw no curious behavior beforehand. --- I have no problem posting or forwarding any of my email.  I rightfully rest in the companies of those who have raised a pup . . . so that means I know nothing.  :)  If you are posting, let people know that the walking  or any sort of training does not start without a challenge.  Mila would be a crazed dingo if it wasn't for her love of food.  :) ---  Crate training the first two days she was here was emotionally taxing for all three of us.  I am not sure how it would have gone if Erin didn't back it up; she spent >4 years of her life working days/nights at a home for kids and learned what inconsistent rules get you.  Mila also spent at least 3-4 hours in her crate at a time during the day between go to work/lunch/come home from work.  We fed her in the crate and very slowly gave her more free space.  For example, up until about she was about 5 months old, she had just the crate unless we were around; 5-6 months, crate plus kitchen; 6-9 months, crate plus kitchen plus dog door open to back yard; 9-12 months all house and backyard, bathroom, bedroom, living room; 12 months living room at night only; and now entire house, bedroom and bathroom.  --- Mila takes a good 5 minutes to get past the first 2 blocks as she would prefer to seek out cat poo and the perfect place to pee and poo, which are the same spots every time.  :)  It's a constant series of my blocking her path and nudging her rump and belly.  Leash tugging is usually my first resort if we happen upon a yard with an aggressive dog or something she is about to focus on.  Leash tugging is my last resort if she has plopped down and decided it's break time or does not want to move yet.

I have learned so many things that I wonder what I am still doing wrong.  :)"

Savannah, at 1.5 years ... jest a lyin' and a chewin' and enjoying the beautiful California weather . . .
Savannah, at 2.5 years, in her Halloween costume!!  :)  Mom, do you think this canine is glad she isn't a snail? :)  She's wearing this, but ONLY for YOU!! heehee
And this is Mr. Pruett Tuff, aka PruPru, at 1.5 years, with his brother, sister, and a friend of 'his' family.  PruPru, you are a beautiful boy, inside and out.  You found yourself a wonderful home and family, didn't you, you sweet-hearted little boy.  I remember you well . . .  :)
Note from Mom (10/14/08):  "After reading so much on bulldogs, I have learned that even playtime at home in the house is hard for some bulldogs.  However, Pruitt can outlast the kids!!!  He just loves all the kids.  My daughter has friends over all the time and he is so kind to all of them.  He is a great additon to our evergrowing family.  Right now we are nursing a 3 day-old kitten.  Our friends call us Dr. Doolittle.  I am sure you could understand that.  We have a guinea pig, a chinese water dragon and some fish as well as Pruitt, Olive and Sweet Pea, our other dogs.  But that just makes for never a boring moment in our home.  Just as we like it.  We will send more pictures soon!  This pic was just a tease!  It is nice to keep in touch with Pruitt's original mom!  Christie"    THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, Christie!
(Note from Mom, 10/20/08:  "These are some pics of Pruitt from the weekend.  He likes hanging out in the backyard with his sisters.  He is such a great companion!"   --- And he is truly a HANDSOME guy, Christie!  Thank you so much!!  :)
(These are pictures of Pruitt at a little over 17 months.)
Note from Mom, October 24, 2008:  "I cannot thank you enough for my little girl; she is so much fun and we love her so much.  She now sleeps under the covers; looking forward to warm toes this winter.  Shella again, Thank you for what you do."

[Rhonda, it is I who thank you!!  You gave her a wonderful home when she was just eight weeks old; and you have continued to love her and let her know that you do.  Thank you so much for the kind words, and I hope you have not one single winter night of cold toes." :) ]
(at 20 months)
(at 20 months)
(Leanna, at 20 months)
KNOW WHO THIS  IS?????

THIS IS MYA MEI at 22 months!!!  I am sooo happy to see you, little girl!!! You still have those big beautiful eyes, and your mom says you are doing great!

THANK YOU, PORSCHE, SO MUCH!!!
Penelope, daughter of CH Nobozz Smirnoff Ice and our beloved Pitypang, is 3 years old today!! (September 14, 2009)  Your parents, Daniel and Rodney, love you and Phoebe so very much.  I'll never, never forget you, sweet girl. -- Question for you, Penelope:  Just HOW much more beautiful are you going to get?  :)
Note from Mom, February 22, 2009:  "  . . .Thought I'd send you some recent photos of Einstein.  We bought him a round Santa stuffed animal at Christmas that was the closest thing we could find to substitute for the tattered tiger pacifier we finally had to throw away.  He sucked on it so much that it was tattered and covered in no time from the drool.  It's so funny; he uses it to pacify himself holding it with his front paws and sucking it.  We don't like to pick it up when he's done cause it's so wet and slimy.  I decided to go back to Petsmart and stock up on that toy at the after Christmas sale so we would have some as back-ups.  -- We took him to a basic training class.  The instructor jut fell in love with him.  He's such a big boy but still thinks he's so tiny and tries to jump up on our laps.  We are still working on the jumping.   Marjorie is going to make me a grandma in June.  She is having a precious little girl, and I do not want him to jump on the baby.  We have to keep him from knocking Marjorie off her feet now.  Hope all is well with you and John.  Theresa"  [CONGRATULATIONS ON THE COMING BABY GIRL!  A joy unlike any other, that of a grandchild, is coming to you soon.  And you are wise in training Einstein what he can and cannot do!  Einstein, you need to live up to your name, now . . . 'think' before you act!! ]
Einstein  at 21 months--you beautiful, beautiful boy . . .
Einstein at his graduation!!  He did well, but . . . he's having a hard time perfecting his "Don't Jump On People" skill!
Scratch one tiger, bring on one penguin . . . Einstein doesn't care--he waaay off in Never Never Land, circling out around Pluto . . .  :)
Boo's Mom sent this picture of her sweet girl taken on a road trip.  What do you bet that Boo would fight for Mom is need be!  :)
Bouree, just one month shy of 2 years!!!
Gianni, loved so dearly by all his family
Note from Dad, July 13, 2009:  "Mila is doing well.  I am convinced that she was put here to make people smile.  It's been so hot we haven't walked or been out much.  Although we had 2 quick early morning trips to the dog park this weekend topped off by a very good trip to the pet store for food on Saturday where she was sitting on command and required little redirection with the leash.  Enjoy, Jake" -- [THANK YOU, Jake and Erin!  It is so evident that you have worked diligently to train your little girl.  I know she loves you both, will all her heart.  The last picture up above is priceless; my very favorite of them all.  :) ]
Captions are Dad's . . . as only he can do them.  :)
Six hours from confirming that this toy is not a Kong product . . .
Someone is trying to get out of this shot . . . she has a rug burn mustache, from trying to hide a chew treat in a rug.
What happens if I push this button?
"If I sit here, I'll know when they come back in!"
"I bet I can make him laugh."
"I'll hold on to his toe; I can sleep . . . and be awakened when he moves."
"This part of the deck makes me . . . tired."
Beauty sleep . . . results may vary
"They treat me like garbage here, HELP!!!!"
LOOK WHO'S HERE!!  :) :)  IT'S WINSTON!  HE'S WEARING HIS ADULT ATTIRE AT ALMOST 2 1/2 YEARS OF AGE, BUT HE CAN CHANGE EVEN MORE, UP TO THE AGE OF 3.  --- Note from Dad, September 6, 2009: "We finally got some pictures of Winston without him trying to lick the camera.  This is his favorite chair.  Whenever someone sits in it, he sits with them.  He is doing well.  He has calmed down a great deal and sleeps close to us most of the time.  He was very gentle with the girls' Grandmother.  She is not really a dog person, but he won her over. "  [THANK YOU SOOO MUCH, F.M.!! I do so appreciate your taking the time and effort required to send this beautiful picture.  Winston was such a sweet little puppy; I would really have been surprised if he had a completely different personality as an adult.  I know that  the love and care he has received from you and Annie and the girls has molded him into the young man he is today.   I would certainly hate to be an intruder who chose your home to invade!  I have a feeling  Winston would NOT allow that; he's not about to let anything happen to HIS family!  -- I take it there is no more jumping from arm of chair to table?? heehee  Would have to be an extremely sturdy table, would it not!  :)   THANK YOU FOR SHARING HIM WITH ALL OF US.  ]
Bruzer with Arne:  "He ain't heavy; he's my brother."  April 2010
Bruzer, at 3 years.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, sweet boy!  Life is hard for you and Arne, isn't it.  :)
WINSTON, at 3 years (just had his 3rd Birthday).  Does this boy look as though he would love to cuddle?  No?  Dad says he does!!  And I know dad is right, because I've never seen a bulldog who did not . . . and in particular this family of bulldogs.  Sweet, sweet, 4-legged people.  THANK YOU, F. M. SO MUCH . . .
Dudley and his mom in the summer of 2010 (Dudley is 3 years old!).  I've never been certain who loves whom the most:  I'd say it is totally equal and totally complete.
